Freezing Camping!!!
So my favorite new thing to do is to go camping. We went camping this weekend, and we froze our butts off!!! Even though it was freezing cold, we had a really good time. There is nothing better then sitting by the camp fire, roasting marsh mellows, looking at the stars, and just hanging out!! We are planning on going camping again in just a couple weeks. It will actually be a hunting/camping trip. I am looking forward to that, I have never been hunting!! So I guess I am going to have to go invest in some camo (hehehe).

Halloween and Fall Time
I have to do one more post in honor of Halloween. This is my favorite time of year!! I love once October hits because then, the my three favorite Holidays are just around the corner!! I absolutely LOVE Halloween, and just fall in general. I love to be scared(just pretend scary of course). I love getting to go to haunted houses, and watching old horror movies. I love getting to dress up, and of course all of the candy that comes along with Halloween. So if anyone is interested in going to a haunted house this year, Brandon and I are definitely up for it!! I am not sure yet what I will be for Halloween this year, so any suggestions would be Great. Gracey is going a a little Angel (yes my dog dresses up for Halloween).
I also just love the fall season. All of the pretty colors, and the weather, I just wished it lasted longer. Brandon thinks that the fall is so depressing since everything is dead, but I just love it so much!!! I love when all the leaves fall to the ground, and you rake them up in a big pile, and the play in them, it is so fun to have a leaf fight (I am still a little girl sometimes). One more good thing about fall. . . . . . I can bring out all my big comfy sweaters!!

#3 So Far
So I am trying to up my average to at least 2 or 3 a month. Everything has been so crazy it seems. 4 months have already gone by since Brandon started his new job, and we have been living apart more then together. So we are both just OVER this whole long distance thing!!! I have been trying to apply for jobs out in the area, and it is very frustrating. You would think with the field that I am in it would be pretty easy, but it is not. I am guessing it has something to do with the economy sucking so bad right now. I did have one job interview this last week. I think that it went pretty good, so now I am just waiting (not fun!!). Not much is going on with the house either, still just sitting on the market. So this weekend we will just be relaxing at the house here. Brandon is going to Dallas on Sunday for 2 weeks, so we are hanging out just the two of us. Have a fabulous weekend!!

I LOVE CAMPING
Another crazy week has come and gone. I have worked six doubles in the last two weeks, and I am so exhausted!! Last weekend we went camping at Camp Pine Mountain. Brandon was in charge of running a weekend camp for the Cub Scouts and so naturally I tagged along. Brandon P. and Kathryn came too. I LOVE CAMPING, and it was so much fun, even though Brandon had to work the whole time. I just love the outdoors it is so gorgeous outside this time of year, and the weather is just so perfect right now too. All in all the camp was a success and the little boys had a wonderful time. My personal favorite thing of the weekend, was sitting by the fire with Brandon roasting marsh mellows. I think I ate half the bag, I kind of made myself sick, but it was totally worth it. I am so proud of my husband for what he is doing. He is truly enjoying his job, and he loves working with kids. On top of everything else he is amazing at it. He is the top DE in his district, and he has done more in 4 months, then anyone in the Council has in the full year. Anyways we are already planing our next camping trip, and I am very excited!!

I am so bad at this!!
I am so bad at Blogging ya'll, I suck!!! Anyways life just seems to be so crazy, but what is new. Brandon has been busy busy working in Columbus, I am I still up here staying crazy busy with work too. The house has not sold yet =( It is so frustrating!!! I have made some wonderful girl friends, that are definitely making this difficult time so much better, and and they are so good at keeping my mind preoccupied, so I don't miss Brandon as much during the week. So Thank You to my wonderful girls!!! Anyways Fleming, Lisa and I went to go see Les Miserables last week, and that was so awesome. I love going to the Fox and getting to see all these amazing performances. I had never seen Les Mis before and I just loved it, those actors can sing!! So anyways I jumped on the Twilight train, and I am hooked. I can not believe that I waited so long to start readying this awesome series. I feel like such a loser because I am so invested in the characters in these books. I am sooooo EXCITED for the movie to come out!!! Have a great weekend!!

The wedding was very nice, and the bride and groom looked so happy!! I LOVE weddings!! So this weekend is Erin’s big Gallery, and other then that I am doing nothing this weekend!! Have a relaxing weekend ya’ll!!

Happy Belated Birthday!!!
So I have the best/sneakiest friends ever. Last night Lisa, Fleming, and Taylor threw me a surprise Birthday party. They had me so fooled!!! I had no idea what was going on, they were actually just a little to good at lying to me. I had such a great time hanging out with these girls last night. So Thank you so much to my wonderful friends, I love you all so much!!!
Nantahala River
So rafting was soooo much FUN!!! I think Brandon and I have found a new favorite thing to do. There ended up about 15 of us that went, and we just had a blast. It was so nice for me to get to meet some of the people that Brandon grew up with. Every one in the South is so wonderful, and genuinely kind and so welcoming. South Carolina was so gorgeous; I love the mountains and all the green. We did have a near death experience, or at least we all thought we were all goners!!! The most dangerous spot on the river, that they tell you to avoid, and where the most injuries occur is where we decoded to get stuck and go down backwards. We were all amazed we came out of it alive, injury free. So I would highly recommend the Nantahala River. It was an absolutely GREAT weekend!!!

The last two weeks have been so busy. . . . . Rebecca, Josh, and Emily have been here and it has been so much fun to get to see them , and catch up. We went to this awesome restaurant last night, Top Floor. It is down town just off of Peachtree, and they have the most unbelievable food!! I actually tried several things that I would never try and it was so delicious. So they are leaving this weekend, and Brandon and I are going White Water Rafting tomorrow in North Carolina. We are very excited, I can't believe I have never been. I am really just excited to get to spend the weekend with Brandon. It is hard to live apart from each other, hopefully it won't be for much longer!!!!!

Another Year has Come and Gone
So . . . . . . . last week was my birthday!! I am now in my mid -twenties. I know it is not old at all but I do have to say that it freaked me out. I don’t really know why, but it just did. So it was a pretty low key day. Brandon was able to come into town for dinner. We went out with my parent to the Atlanta Athletic club, and had some great Southern cooking. Well Rebecca, Josh and Emily got here this weekend, and it was so good to see them. They will be here for the next two weeks so it is going to be so much fun to have them here. Time is going by way to fast!!! I can’t believe how much has happened in the last year. I wish I could slow it down just a little bit. My brother and his wife are moving in just two weeks to SC for Law School, and Erin and Nate are moving to Chicago in a month and a half, and they are pregnant, just craziness. I got to run. Have a fabulous week ya’ll!!!

It's been a while sorry. . . . Anyways we went to Panama City, Florida this last week with Brandon's family. We had such a great time, it has been a couple years since we had been to PC and a lot has changed it is much more family oriented and less of a College party place. So Brandon's parents, Kathryn and Brandon P. were all there. We had such an awesome time, we only got one really good day of sun which stunk since my only objective for the trip was to get a tan!! It was so good to get to see everyone, especially my Husband, it had been two weeks since we had seen each other. We had such a fun road trip on the way there just chatting about everything, and singing and dancing to music. So we got back last Wednesday and Brandon went to work but I had the whole week off, soooo I did some laying out back here in GA and just enjoyed a couple days with out work. I have this really big exam coming up for work so I have been studying my butt off for it and just laying by the pool.
I am so proud of Brandon and myself we both did the Peach Tree Road Race on Friday (its a 10k race that happens every 4th of July in Atlanta) Anyways Brandon totally kicked my butt and was my motivation to get to the finish line. We were both so glad that we did once it was all over with. So we decided to start a new tradition that we are going to run in it every year from now on. Next year we are going to actually train for it and run in the timed group (my dad's idea) My brothers, Mom, and dad and us are all going to do a qualifying 10k in March. We had a good 4th of July, we were able to watch fireworks out of our front windows and off of our deck.

I am still recovering from the weekend, it was such a long drive. Brandon has a very sweet Grandma and also step-Grandpa(Arther). We all had a really great time it was so nice to get to meet them. We had some of the BEST southern cooking ever!!! Brandon's grandma sure can cook!! We all had the worst stomach aches but it was well worth it. There were so many things that I would never dare try eating but I did. I found that if you add fat or bacon grease to just about anything will be unbelievably delicious. Jacksonville is such a beautiful city, we stayed right on the river downtown, and it was so pretty. If you haven't been there I would definitely recommend it. So anyways Brandon went back to West Point for another week of Camp, and I think he will probably be there next week too. Then he will officially start his new job!!!! Have a great week ya'll!!!

Jacksonville
So this weekend we are headed off to Jacksonville. We are going to visit Brandon's Grandma, and I have to say I am a little nervous. I have never met her and neither has my brother-in-law so the four of us and Mr. Tobey are going to visit her this weekend. It is like a 6 hour drive which stinks but, Brandon and I will have our new Blackberry's to play with the whole time so at least we will be entertained. I am looking forward to getting to spend the weekend with Brandon P. and Kathryn. We rarely get to hang out so it will be so much fun!! and of course I love getting to see my wonderful father-in-law. Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there!!

Mamma Mia
So last night. . . . .so much FUN!!!! Tiffany, Fleming, Lisa and I went out on the town. We met up for dinner at Garrisons and the went down to the Fox for Mamma Mia. I absolutely loved it, I had forgotten how many Abba song were out there. Oh and the encore at the end was the best, all of the actors just danced and sang for a few songs. It was so fun Lisa and Fleming had already seen Mamma Mia before so they new about the awesome Secret Encore. It was so fun to get to go out for a girls night. These girls are so much fun, and I am loving getting to know them all so well, but I am sad that we will be moving away soon =( Anyways thanks for a great night ladies!!! Oh and I stole this pic for Tiffany's blog I hope you don't mind ( she was the only with a camera)
I love you all!!

1 YEAR!!!
So this weekend was out 1st wedding anniversary. We really were not planning on doing much, maybe a nice dinner or something. So I went out to LaGrange on Friday since Brandon was up there for camp already. And I found out that he had planned us a whole anniversary weekend. I had recently been complaining to him that he had never taken me to Calloway Gardens in the 4years that we have been together, and his parents live less then 5 miles from it. So he booked us a hotel and we got to go around and do all the fun things in Calloway Gardens. There was this beautiful Butterfly Center that was so fun to get to see, Brandon had a Butterfly land right on his hat. There are all of the gorgeous gardens everywhere, and so many walking and biking trails. There is a really pretty lake with a huge white sand beach. There were a lot more things that I know I am forgetting. I had such a fantastic time, it was the perfect anniversary. Thanks again Brandon I love you!!!!
So Brandon had this Butterfly land right on his hat when we were 1st in the Butterfly Center!

Alone for a week=(
Not a whole lot has happened this past week, just busy with work and keeping the house nice and clean for prospective buyers. It was a nice low key weekend, just hanging out and doing work around the house. Brandon left for Pine Mountain on Saturday night. He gets to go to Scout camp this whole next week, which I know he is very excited about, so I am home all alone for the next week. It is not much fun when it is just me and Gracey, she really misses her Daddy!!! I do to, but this is kind of what we have to get use to for the next couple months until we sell the house and I can move too. Tonight I am going around the neighborhood with Fleming to check out all of my competition out there, I hope everyone has really ugly wallpaper and crazy paint, and smelly houses, so mine looks just that much better!! Wish me luck!!

So this had been a GREAT week!! We found out for that Brandon got the job with Boy Scouts of America. So we are in the process of putting the house on the market and getting ready to move. We are both very excited about the move and new job. I am worried that our house won't sell but I am trying not to stress. My parents left for Austria this week they will be gone for almost two weeks. They are in Vienna for a few days then of to Salzburg for a week. I am so jealous they are going to go on the Sound of Music tour. I hope that one day Brandon and I will be able to travel all over the world. I got to hang out with two of my best girl friends from high school today(Sarah & Joanna) which was so awesome. We haven't all hung out together for over 5 years. It was so great to reminisce and catch up on all of our lives. Well take care all, loves!!!

So we went to Las Vegas this last week, and we had such a blast!!! We were only there for a few days which was enough to experience what Vegas had to offer. I went to a Conference for work there so that wasn't much fun, but we had a good time at night. We went to this fabulous show put on by Cirque Du Soleil called Mystere. It was absolutely amazing the things that the performers could do. We were both so impressed and it was absolutely worth every penny. We got to see a bunch of different Hotels and Casinos, and eat at some really great restaurants. It was definitely a very exhausting vacation, but we had such a great time it was worth it!! Here are just a few pictures. . ...

So it's Monday . . . back to work. We had a really great weekend. Brandon Parrott and Kathryn came to visit us and to celebrate Brandons Birthday!! It was so good to get to see them and get to hang out. It is hard for all of us to get together, now that we are all grown-up and working "real" jobs. So Bella (their pug) came with them and I think Gracey is about 5 lbs. lighter. She has slept for the last day and a half trying to recover. Bella wore her lazy butt out!!! So I am getting very excited we are going to Las Vegas on Wednesday, and I can't wait. I have never been to Vegas. I am going to a Conference for work so that stinks, but there will still be lots of time to play. Brandon gets to tag along so it will be a nice little vacation for us, and boy do we need it!!!

One Crazy Week and it is only Thursday!!!!
It seems like this week has just been insanely busy, and so so long!! Well this week it was my Hubby's Birthday, and Nate's Graduation, a Braves game, a trip out to Columbus and LaGrange. We all went to the Braves game on Monday night, except for Brandon he had to work. It was a lot of fun. I hadn't gone to a game in a long time and the Braves were kicking butt so that was making it a lot more fun to watch. Well after a late Monday night. I had the day off from work so the Brandon and I could celebrate his Birthday (a day early). We ended up going out to Columbus, and then to Lagrange for a B-day dinner with his family. It was so great to get to see everyone. Well then Wednesday my genius brother-in-law Nate had his graduation for his PHD in Bioengineering. Erin and I found it to be the most entertaining and funniest Graduation we had ever been too. Well I am looking so forward to just going home just doing nothing, and vegging out!!!!!

We (well . . I) have decided to start our own little blog. It seems to be the best way to let everyone know what is going on in our lives, and to let everyone have a small insight into our world. I will try my best to keep this as up to date as possible, but no promises. I hope everyone enjoys!!!!
